On 3 March, the 2023 Signify Market Greater China Local Competition was successfully held, with eight outstanding teams participating to share how they achieved exceptional results by embracing continuous improvement and thriving against the odds.Following a fierce competition, the “Huanggang Industrial Park Smart Lamp Post Project”, in which Cheng Long, General Manager of Leifei’s Smart Lighting Division, participated, took the top prize (Excellence Award) and will represent Greater China alongside another team in the Asia-Pacific regional competition.

 Reasons for the Huanggang Industrial Park Smart Pole Project’s award:

 “Over 200 Brightsites smart poles and 2,500+ Philips smart streetlights create a safe and comfortable environment for both pedestrians and workers, whilst reducing lighting energy consumption by over 50%!”

 Another Leifei team, the “Air LOCK Project” group, was overwhelmingly voted the winner of the “People’s Choice Award”, as determined by 1,600 audience members. Jenny Nip, Director of Quality at Leifei, led the “Air LOCK Project” team in making significant contributions to reducing the rate of poor airtightness in linear lights.
