Nanjing West Road, formerly known as Jing’an Temple Road, was built in the early 1860s as a road built across the boundary of the Shanghai public concession. From its completion to the present, Nanjing West Road has always been a commercial street in Shanghai famous for its high-end and fashion. Located on Nanjing West Road, Hang Lung Plaza, CITIC Pacific Plaza and Westgate Plaza were built in the 1990s. They are in the prime area of Nanjing West Road. Since the completion of the three commercial buildings, they have formed a "Golden Triangle" top business district LiteMagic participated in the lighting renovation of CITIC Square and Westgate Plaza. Before the renovation, the two buildings only used traditional sodium luminaires on the top. The sodium light had high energy consumption, single color, low CRI, and light decay is serious as aging. All the above had not only affected the safety of pedestrians, but also greatly reduced the noble, dignified and elegant image of these top commercial buildings. To change the dim lighting of the two buildings and solve the problems of the existing lighting system, and meet the new commercial requirements, the first step was to replace all the sodium luminaires with LED light. The second step was use floodlights and wall washers to create a new lighting system for the building according to considerations based all aspects and multiple angles. LiteMagic provided a variety of new floodlights and wall washers for CITIC Pacific Plaza and Westgate Plaza to meet lighting requirements and achieve design effects.
The project was in the north and south sides of the Ganjiang River. The building facades on both sides played a role as stage background to create a sound and light performance exclusively for Nanchang. LiteMagic provides direct-viewed pixel light for most buildings on the southern side, which are mainly located from Chaoyang Bridge to the east of Shengmi Bridge. The facades of the buildings on both sides of the Gan River follow the rhythm of the music, forming the ups and downs and changes of light and shadow, showing the charming light view of Nanchang, and becoming a pleasing musical picture on the bank of the Gan River. About 40 buildings that equipped with LiteMagic stand on the south side of the Ganjiang River. After night fell, the facades of the buildings facing the Ganjiang River began to play animation. At the same time, the LiteMagic’s dot light MagicStrip Pro SW036, which installed on the facades of the buildings on both sides of the main street along the river was also quietly flashing, together creating a dynamic, warm, and interesting living space in the residential area. SW036 was arranged vertically installed on residential buildings on the south bank of the Ganjiang River and flashing slowly. It looks like little stars in the sky and was in sharp contrast with the gorgeous colorful animation around and the deep blue Gan River.
The first phase of the Chifeng New District project beautified the night in the Chifeng New Districts. The second phase project aimed to make additional design and adjustment of other parts of the new district’s buildings and landscapes to further improve the night landscape of the new district and shape a more refined night view of Chifeng city. The second phase project lighting plan included two-horizontal plus two-vertical axes with small lighting scenes. The renovation was divided into three parts including Yulong Street, Linhuang Street. Their styles of landscape lighting were were different but in a harmony status. Lighting along the Yulong Street is in amber color. Combined with Hongshan culture, the lighting o created a warm, dynamic and modern atmosphere. Lighting along Linhuang Street with warm colors showed the city’s vigor and vitality, which is in line with the theme of economic booming, created a fresh and fashionable urban bustling night scene. The lighting renovation along the main street , which was to reduce the luminance with premise that ensure basic lighting, finally form a unique and smart landscape corridor in the city. During the second phase of the project, we carried out lighting renovations on the facades of more than a dozen commercial buildings, including Wanda Plaza, Xincheng Hotel, Environmental Inspection Bureau and Jiutian Building.
The Shenzhen Bay lighting upgrade project in Nanshan District included buildings, landscape belts, coastlines, docks, mountains, landscape structures along the area from SCT Wharf in Nanshan District to Shenzhen Bay Bridge. The project is aimed at high-quality projects in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen. Therefore, the owner and designer had strict requirements on the various indicators of the project, especially the quality of luminaries and lighting effects. LiteMagic provided a variety of specifications of wall washer and floodlights to complete the floodlighting in this project. Among them, the Shenzhen Bay Yacht Club SMC is the only yacht club in Shenzhen and the designated berth dock of China (Guangdong) Free Trade Zone and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Yacht Free Tour. Aiming at its high-end positioning, LiteMagic closely cooperated with the designer and construction party to create a noble and quiet night lighting environment. Shekou Industrial Zone Building is the first administrative office building built in Shekou Industrial Zone in the early days. It is now used as the office of the Shenzhen Shekou Maritime Department. We created the solemn and solemn image of the building by installing floodlights on its facade. In addition, we also provided products for other buildings along the Shenzhen Bay, including buildings in residential areas such as the Blue Ocean Rose Garden and Peninsula City State.
To create is both dynamic and static lighting environment, one side of Donghaixi Road was designed with dynamic lighting, while the other side was designed with static lighting. LiteMagic provided pixel lighting and wall washers for two different lighting requirements. Wall washers were installed on the facades of buildings of different shapes and styles along the Fushan Bay. According to the characteristics of each building, LiteMagic had provided more than 70,000 sets of linear wall washers of different specifications for more than 100 buildings along the bay,including Brush-SW011, iGrazer-W4321, Spread-EW004. Hisense Yandao International Apartment and Jinhai Square are adjacent to Yan'er Island to the west and Yan'er Island Mountain Park to the east. Listening to the wind of the sea, it is quite leisurely and elegant. Hisense Yandao International Apartment has a unique structural design, presented in an elliptical shaped; the lower building group in front is Jinhai Plaza. Its design combines Chinese and Western styles with traditional Chinese roof and modern body. The linear wall washer installed on Hisense Yandao International Apartment buildings realizes the animation effect of slow chasing and flowing of light, which is in contrast with the static lighting effect of Jinhai Square, which is exactly "movement in stillness and stillness in movement". When night comes, the overall lighting effect is slowly unfolding like gentle ocean waves.
