The Guanyin Mountain Business in the exhibition area is adjacent to the Xiamen International Conference Center, which was the main venue of the conference. It would attract the world's attention during the conference, and it was also an area through which all guests would pass. Covering from Guanyin Mountain to Xiamen University, the nearly 20-kilometer-long buildings along the route had become an important expression of the facade of this lighting project. LiteMagic participated in eight building facades, included Fuxing Building, Xinyi International Center, Guanyin Mountain, Tailong Building, Huijin International Center, Asia Gulf Hotel, Chuangguan International Center, and Dali Operation Center. To integrate the night scenery along the river, LiteMagic provided customized wall washer for the project in this area. Customized wall washer with a total of more than 300,000 pixels, pixel light and dual-color flexible light, combined with the urban lighitng control system, showed the beautiful night view of Xiamen to the guests
Because the beach south-west of the island has a two-meter-high reef with caves in the middle, whenever the tide surges, waves hit the reef, sound like a drum, people call it "gu lang stone", Gulangyu is named for it. Gulangyu has slow-paced urban culture with its short and crisscrossed streets, sea breeze, and sound of the waves. In this project, LiteMagic participated in many parts, including the drum sound hole, pen cave, Longshan cave, Weizhuang Garden, Inner O Pier, Citizen's Wharf, Hero Mountain (Qinyuan). Not only to enhance the visual impact based on the original lighting, but also to highlight the characteristics of the landscape and lighting effects. The misplaced mountains and buildings were illuminated by the light to create a beautiful view of the highs and lows. LiteMagic applied linear wall washers and pixel lights to show the quiet, distant Gulangyu in the night scene. After the lighting renovation, the quiet and exquisite night scenery of Gu Lang Yu had sharp contrast with the other side of the river.
Fuzhou, also known as Rongcheng, or "Rong" for short, located in the eastern part of Fujian Province and the lower reaches of the Minjiang River. It is not only the capital of Fujian Province, but also the political, economic, cultural, educational, and transportation center of Fujian Province, and the central city of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits. The theme of the project is: "moisten Minjiang with light, energizing the city, floating light swaying on the river, reflecting the city’s essence." The entire project was planned as "one river, one axis, one line, and three centers". The "one river" refers to the Minjiang River. The improvement of lighting on both sides of the river is an important part of the entire project. The media facades of the Strait Financial Business District on both sides of the Min River, as one of the scenic spots for river tours, are an important manifestation of the Min River. According to the design plan, 11 buildings such as Wanda Plaza on the north side and 10 buildings such as the “South Bank World Europe Riverside City” and other buildings need to be upgraded based on the original lighting to strengthen the integrity of the architectural landscape on both sides of the Minjiang and improve the regional features. In major festivals, the building facades on both sides of the Aofeng Bridge were linked together to display animation and synchronized music to form a dreamy and fantastic light show. The light show on the north and south sides of the Minjiang River consisted of 10 buildings on the southern side and 11 buildings on the northern sides. For the facades of these buildings, constructors retained the lighting according to the requirements, and added a reasonable lighting system to supplement the buildings that lacked lighting effects. LiteMagic provided a total of more than 300,000 pcs pixel lights with special optical design in the project, helping to effectively connect the originally independent and unrelated building lights organically, and to maximize the integrity of the lighting effects of each building. Lighting designer also made comprehensive consideration of the setting of the lighting scene mode. Under the non-holiday mode, each building facade maintains the original lighting effects to save energy. While under the holiday mode, the facades of the buildings are linked energetically to activate the light show. The LM-SW029 series pixel lights installed on the facade were equipped with 6 low-power RGB (3 in 1) LEDs plus 3 low-power mono-white LEDs, and were controlled under DMX512 lighting system, operated with different lighting scenarios and timing setting, together formed the real-time animation effect of the media facade. Thanks to the optical design independently developed by LiteMagic, SW029 fully considers environmental and economic benefits: On the one hand,SW029 avoids useless light effectively to reduces light pollution, while the light emitted by the traditional pixels to the sky above the horizontal line has formed light pollution, which has not actually been observed by people. On the other hand, the energy saved due to lower power, better visual comfort.
The Dasha River is the only river in Nanshan district of Shenzhen. It runs through the Nanshan region and eventually meets Shenzhen Bay. The ecological promenade landscape project along the Dasha River is located next to the Nanshan Science and Technology Park, which is Shenzhen's science and technology center. During the day, people at work must compete for time on this promenade, and only can pass by in a hurry, with no time to stay. And when night falls, the noisy city gradually quiet down, it is undoubtedly a good choice for the people who have been tired all day to take a walk and relax. The continuous light belt outlines the natural flow of the Dasha River, unwittingly separating the tranquility of the natural ecological park from the restless noise of the city. LiteMagic provided linear pixel light, linear wall washer, panel lights and dot light for this project and for Shenzhen's harmonious riverside view.
